Do you suffer from Sleep Inertia?
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 21st, 2007 in How to sleep better, Sleep Disorders.
People may sometimes find themselves in awe, thinking of a way to be able to gather their senses and put everything in perspective to satisfy expectations in various tasks that include school and work. Sleep inertia is an offshoot of grogginess where people are groping for form to gather their senses and take on tasks to be carried out in the usual manner they should be.
Anyone can suffer from this daily. Many would ignore such a state but the truth of it all is that they do experience it during times. Ideally this can come from oversleeping or when a person would be awakened from a deep slumber, something that is proof that people have yet to realize that they are walking in reality and not anymore in their fantasy world of dreams.
Hence, the next time, people should take into consideration of trying to recover their bearing before carrying out anything that they would want to do. It is better that way since safety and proper execution of tasks is critical for people who need to adhere towards various tasks expected from them.

Being Drunk May Lead to Waking Up Unknowingly
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 21st, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP Fun, SLEEP News.
People who engage in nightlife and drinking sprees would often find themselves in places where they would not be aware of how they were able to get there. Some would get totally drunk that they pass out during the party itself, while other would find themselves in their homes without a clue of how they even got home.
Such would be considered a dangerous way of living. Being unaware of how they would reach such places or getting home after only remembering being in a party should be something people must be cautious. A person unconscious of his acts may lead to dangerous ways of living. It is simply something that should carry responsibility.
A person who gets drunk should be mature enough to note that he needs to be careful on where he might find himself. People who do not give this criterion much weight would usually find themselves in hospital beds or for worst case scenarios, the morgue!

Sleeping on Double Decked Beds
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 21st, 2007 in SLEEP Fun, SLEEP Video, Sleep Humor.
Usually, we would see double decked beds in kids rooms, prisons and barracks. Some would be interested in seeing them and even trying them out. However, the discomforts of having someone sleeping above you may be in effect, especially when people want to get a complete shuteye. This is usually something that makes double decks limited towards kids and limited spaces for people on chosen facilities.
These double decked beds are usually single beds put into two layers. There would usually be some disputes on who would get the upper half, something that kids would fight over at some point. But as they reach adulthood, chances are they would rather have single beds since having to climb towards the second level of double decks may not be ideal for people wanting sleep on their beds as easily.

Waking Up on the Wrong Side of Bed
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 21st, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Myths.Such an expression of using “Waking up on the wrong side of Bed” will always point towards people who may start their day with practically all things going wrong. It should not be taken literally such as that of waking up in a position where people would normally not want to be in. It is basically used to describe people who may not be in a good mood or be grouchy at times.
There are a lot of things to consider when people are termed this way. One is perhaps people who may not be able to get enough sleep, owing it all to a bad dream or simply waking up in a bad mood. Overall, the manner of sleeping has a big thing to do with it. While people may not put much weight on such an expression, anyone can indeed wake up on the wrong side of bed at any time they may not even be aware of.
