Herbal Sleeping Pills can be Addictive
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung August 17th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, Insomnia, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues, Sleeping Pills.
It is a foregone conclusion that relying heavily on sleeping pills can make a person very much reliant towards them. While some may beg to disagree, hard luck people who have trouble sleeping in Canada have turned to herbal remedies to aid their sleeping disorder with the hope of getting sustainable sleeping periods in the process as well.
Sleepes is one prescribed herbal sleeping pill that has been spread throughout Canada. However, the bad news here is that once people stop taking them, the after-effects start to set in. Insomnia and depression instances start to creep in adding more misery to the already borne sleeping problem people are having to date.
“My insomnia became total for about two weeks, meaning I was lucky if I got an hour or two of sleep a night. Then I had several months of feeling hopeless and not wanting to live,” she says.

Poverty and Sleeping Elders
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung August 16th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP News.
The issue of poverty is a reality for most parts of the world. While there are nations who do not show a striking number of poverty stricken individuals, they can be seen from the homeless elders, or often termed as “bums”, who look for rest and slumber in any public place they can.
It is a fact that these people who are often found asleep in parks would be reprimanded and directed to go somewhere else. But to do they have somewhere else to go? Some would often be content finding a dark alley or abandoned building to sleep temporarily. But a permanent home is what they do not have.
Bums and low life people may have done some mistakes and wrongdoings in their prime but just like us, they need to get their share of sleep and respite as well. It is hard to understand the cycle, but as far as sleep is concerned, it is a definite need for anyone in the world.

Call it a call toward trying to satisfy self-anxiety, television and the Internet play a vital role in depriving a person of a good sleeping practice. Most of the time, people are left in awe at what entertains them the most. Once this does occur, they tend to extend viewing or surfing time in favor of sleep just to fulfill their curiosity. This is nothing new both to the young and old people who lack sleep. This is practically seen today. People complain about sleep. But the matter of trying to control their sleep management should not come as a surprise when the issue booms out of ordinary proportions.

Technology Deprives Sleep
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung August 13th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP Gadgets, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues.
No violent reactions and unwanted remarks should be disclosed with this conclusion: Technology does indeed play a role in depriving sleep. Let us face it, people are excited and uneasy when they get a new toy that is technology based. These include cellphones, computer gadgets and game consoles. People would face endless hours focusing their attention gazing and studying their gadgets, much of which would take some time to get over with.
This endless time includes that of forgetting about the time and thus people find themselves awake relentlessly while enjoying their gadget and toys. Sleep? Well for them sleep can wait and be entertained later. While this is true, just pray that this does not become a habit because regulating sleepless nights would usually entail habitual trouble when going back to the regular sleeping hours of people today.
