The Extension of Sleep Apnea towards Partners
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung August 10th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP Gadgets, SLEEP News, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Apnea, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues, Sleep Wear.
While the issue of sleep apnea for victims who have been battling the problem for some time may be remedied more or less through medication and sleeping gadgets, it should not be forgotten that their partners or loved ones may be encountering difficulties in sleeping as well since they have to look after them. Such is a reality and people may either contract the same sleeping problem or a more severe health concern.Hence, observing sleep apnea patients does not end there. It should also include looking after the caretakers who are suffering altogether. From a glance it would all seem like sleep apnea is indeed contagious but I guess this would depend on how people would go about taking care of their loved one suffering from the said sleep disorder.

Insomniacs Visit the Toilet Often
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung August 9th, 2007 in Health Issues, Insomnia, Sleep Disorders.
Insomnia is not all about not being able to sleep and staying awake. Varying factors that include frequent visits to the toilet at night is a possibility and based on this study conducted by Danish researchers, most of this affects men over women.
It is not purely about wanting to do something. The fact that the body is not getting enough sleep and functioning abnormally may lead to some inner body changes. Some of the affected areas and levels based on urine from the study conducted contained large amounts of sodium and potassium.
Hence, sleep deprivation problems such as Insomnia is more than wanting to normalize sleep. It also includes normalizing blood levels which are obviously affected as well.

Sleeping through the Rainy Season
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung August 8th, 2007 in How to sleep better, Sleep Issues, Sleep Myths.
Better sleep can usually be solicited if some areas of satisfaction that people look for are satisfied. Climates and room temperature will always be among these factors and the colder it is, the better for some people. This is not to mention that people who live in the polar ice caps are the ideal place to sleep well. This is more inclined towards temperature derived from changing season such as the transition from warm sunny days towards cold rainy days.
True enough, people find the rainy season as something that would make a person drowsy and lazy. People would rather sleep out the rainy days in their homes if they had a choice since it is hard to get up and carry on the normal duties of their lives.
While it is true that people should get enough sleep, they should also consider not taking too much of it. Too much sleep will produce bulging eye bags and not to mention put professions in peril. People who become lazy because of the weather may want to retreat and consider the risks they are playing around with. Sleep the right way and try to save some disciplinary things in the process.
