Sleeping Under a Mosquito Net

Apparently, for places like Africa, the need to safeguard the whole body from the normal insect bites have become a significant alert as far as health standards and preventive measures from contracting unlikely diseases today. Some may get the illnesses like Dengue and other insect-transmitted diseases that bites the bloodstream of most individuals to spread these diseases.
Surely, a mosquito net is not all that expensive. All it takes is just to place one once you sleep and of course something to get used to.

Many would call it an exaggerated point of view but lack of sleep may indeed lead to loss of life if health is continued to be overlooked. The Dreaded Trypanosomiasis or Sleeping Sickness
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung October 3rd, 2007 in Health Issues, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues.
We all know that sleeping may become serious but for people in Angola, an ancient sleeping sickness transmitted through insects may be a lot more serious than the usual sleeping disorders we normally hear from people today.
They call it Trypanosomiasis or sleeping sickness which originates from Africa. It is known to be caused by two parasites:
Angola will host from Monday through Saturday the 39th International Scientific Council to investigate and fight trypanosomiasis, or sleeping sickness.
Experts from 36 countries will try to combat an endemic disease affecting both humans and animals over 6 million square miles of Sub-Saharan Africa.
The infection is acquired through the bite of Tse-Tse fly. Early stages involve headaches, malaise, intermittent fever, enlargement of the lymph nodes and liver.

One resident says he was fast asleep when his dog, Layla, woke him up by licking his hand. He then smelled smoke and saw flames on his balcony.
“He immediately called 911 and we’re real thankful for and because of the that real quick call that made this not such severe damage,” said Dick Groves with the Lawrence Township Fire Department.
