Wake Up to the Glo Pillow
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung September 29th, 2008 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Gadgets, SLEEP News.
Alarm clocks have long been known to serve its purpose, using its irritating bell or chime to wake you up at specified periods that you require. But while that is used through the traditional sense of hearing, perhaps this Glo Pillow can use eyesights and help you get up to the sudden burst of light when you sleep on them.
The features are practically the same. You set the time when you want to get up and the pillow will use its built-in LEDS which brighten gradually over a span of 40 minutes that will pull you away from your deep slumber.
It seems like a more logical solution considering the gradual awakening can gradually wake you up.

Steal Some Sleep with this Vertical Bed in a Suitcase
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung September 24th, 2008 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Fun, SLEEP Gadgets, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Humor.
For sure, this is something that most people would want to have, especially if you are not the type who gets a lot of shuteye. When we talk about sleep, it normally pertains to laying down on our favorite bed, comfortable and of course finding the position suitable to get that much needed rest leading to sleep.
But for people who want to steal some sleep regardless of position, here is a polyphasic sleep, a practice of sleeping multiple times in a 24-hour period, with the help of this Vertical Bed in a suitcase.
Nutty as it may look but if you can steal some minutes deceiving other people then why not? Just make sure you find a suitable place though.
The artist who created this concept will tell you that it’s some artsy-fartsy way to make a statement and get yourself some polyphasic sleep, which is the practice of sleeping multiple times in a 24-hour period, but really it’s just an excuse to be lazy whenever and wherever you want. So lazy that you don’t even lay down. In fact, it’s a new epidemic of laziness sweeping the globe. This guy basically walks around with his Vertical Bed in a suitcase, finds himself a nice spot, anchors his bed above subway vents and sleeps for about 40 minutes a pop.
