Sleep apnea problems are often seen as a problem in adults. However, even the kids today suffer from unsuspecting sleep apnea issues. It is indeed something that may not be thought of but hearing or seeing your child breathing abnormally may lead a person to think that there is really something wrong with the child.
Tonsils would normally be identified as a culprit towards being an obstruction towards air passage in most people today. While it may be surprising to note on most kids today, the reality is that sleep apnea does not choose or have preference on which it victimizes. This includes kids who seem to be normal but have issues once they go to bed and rest.

We all hear about the growing concern for sleep-related disorders such as insomnia and sleep apnea. To some it is not yet a big deal considering they have not bouts with it yet. But sleep disorders are not constrained towards these two popular sleeping disorders. It can also be categorized into the following:
- Sleep Eating
- Sleep Paralysis
- Sexsomnia
- Pseudoinsomnia

There are number of people, usually professionals and executives who have to troop around different places of the world today. There are various factors to consider such as time zones and of course the lack of flexibility of time. But then again, these people who specialize and need to act as ambassadors or representatives of their companies have lesser options and hence must adjust accordingly.
With special emphasis on this need, there are enumerated tips for the road weary traveler. This includes:
- Find a Dark Environment when traveling.
- Try to get a window seat near the front of the plane when flying.
- Bring a nightlight or penlight if you get up at night.
- Try to keep the thermostat in your hotel room between 68 and 72 degrees.
- Lavender oil or a spritz of lavender linen spray on your sheets often helps with restful sleep.
- A nap during the day helps make up for midnight tossing and turning for people who normally sleep well but don’t get enough sleep one night.
- Try not to nap too close to bedtime or for more than 90 minutes.
