Co-Sleeping Lowers Risk of Obesity?

Co-Sleeping Lowers Risk of Obesity?

A new Danish study has revealed that kids who co-sleep with their parents are likely to reduce the risk of dealing with obesity. The unofficial reason given behind this is that kids who co-sleep with their parents are likely to feel a greater sense of emotional support compared to the ones who sleep on their own which are categorized as rejected.

The findings are indeed informative but it makes you think, how does this fit in with the whole SIDS issue? Apparently, a non-

Sleep Alone and Feel Better

sleeping_man_640

Normally, people would not want to sleep alone and would rather have something or someone to cling on. But a study seems to think otherwise.

With about 13,000 people participating in a poll, 70 percent had been woken during the night; 35 percent were woken by a partner snoring, going to the bathroom, answering calls o

Happier Sleep on the Left Side of Bed?

When it comes to sleeping on the side of bed, it seems that there is more than choosing which side to sleep on when couples are concerned. While most partners have their own setup on which side to sleep on, studies show that sleeping on the left side account for a happy and stress-free life.

More Co-Sleeping Casualties Reported

One would think that with the growing problem of co-sleeping with infants, adults and parents would be more careful and take it more sensibly. But with new reports of co-sleeping casualties for November, this doesn’t seem to be the case.

There were two separate incidents reported. One had to do with Yasmine Y. Ashley, a 1.5 month infant who turned unresponsive after sleeping alongside her mother and the mom’s said boyfriend. According to the Medical Examiner’s

Loneliness tied to Fitfull Sleep

Sleepless

Normally, we have all been told that a person with lots of problems will normally gain less sleep. Soft is not safe as far as Dr. Rachel Moon is concerned. This conclusion however is not a new one. If you recall, pillows or cushions have been found to be dangerous for babies who sleep.
