At times where we find ourselves in the middle of having to make critical decisions concerning work or life, we would often be told to sleep on it. At this state, we can relax our thoughts and gather new ideas, making it all the broader as far as weighing out the pros and cons and that coming up with a final decision.

Many have tried to make judgment when they sleep. Certain factors may come into play when you are unconscious. While it can be a big help, reality has its own share of factors which may not necessarily come up when you sleep. Hence if you want to pass a decision, make sure you are conscious and aware of it.

This is perhaps better than leaving final decisions based on dreams or sub consciousness. In today’s world, reality has to be met with factual moves based on the situation that you may find yourself in.

Unconscious decision-making was thought to be best in certain situations because it is not limited by how much stuff can be shuffled through the mind - a limitation thought to hobble conscious thought. And so, scientists had said the benefits of unconscious thinking are greatest when a decision is complex, with multiple options and attributes.

We all work 5 days a week. 6 if you are in the service sector. But overall, the issue on whether a holiday break or weekend would help us regulate sleep or at least be able to get back to our regular sleeping patterns is something that many would want to know.

For sure, breaks are much needed for people who have to work a lot during the week. But as far as sleep is concerned, it can regulate and nourish sleep once again but apparently not fully. Regeneration and rejuvenating our strength at these times is something welcome and perhaps refreshing. But as far as making it a habit, perhaps it would be best to consider that once Monday is here, you may be back to following the same old chaotic sleep deprivation mess.

Mondays welcome well-rested employees for sure. But while that may mean production on a new energy, there are people who may not necessarily welcome Mondays with open arms. Some people may find the weekend all too enjoying that they want more of it. If there is something about vacations and weekends, it is the matter of not getting too much of it.

Sleep is essential and perhaps it is safe to say now, the proper amount of sleep and when not to get too much of it is an issue. Sleep has affected us both mentally and as a whole. Perhaps a disciplined mindset as well as regular health check-ups can ensure that we get the proper sleeping hours due for a normal human being.

Traditionally, all employees and workers look forward to the standard 8 to 5 job. With that in mind, you just have to follow the regular sleeping pattern to which most would find their way to bed by 9 in the evening.

But for people who work on changing shifts, adjusting the sleep pattern may not be that easy. For most, drowsiness and that heavy feeling is there especially if you are fresh from a previous work shift schedule.

So what is a person to do. Well for one, you have to get used to it if you are decided to keep that job of yours. The transition is not that easy. Imagine coming of an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. shift and then working on an 11 p.m. to 8 p.m. shift. You are bound to encounter preliminary headaches and of course sleeping difficulties. But after a couple of days, your body clock will adjust accordingly until perhaps the next shift schedule.

Most people who suffer from this issue come from the call centers and the medical sector. But considering how hard it is today to get a job, they are left with few options. The worst part of it is that this sleep disorder will haunt them for years to come. Being accustomed to such is really something that people have to realize. It just will not go easily compared to how it came.

Finally, you are really just left with two choices:

1. Bear with the job and adjust to the job requirement needs.
2. Consider a career change or look for another similar job that may not be entirely demanding as far as ruining your regular body clock cycle.

The choice is really all up to you.

Estazolam

Estazolam

The intake of various herbal medicine or unknown remedies to help cure sleep deprivation are no different from the usual health-related issues we have. But as far as medication is concerned, unknown meds should still come with the necessary prescription to avoid problems in the long run which may even cost you your life.

Such is the issue of the illegal herbal pill called estazolam which had claimed the life of Michael Berggen who died in a single vehicle roll-over two years ago. The only thing the Canadian authorities have gathered is that it is dangerous but as far as origin is concerned, they are just dumbfounded right now.

The veteran trucker and father of four was making his first run of the morning on Boxing Day, 2006, when he drove out of Hines Creek, 560 kilometres northwest of Edmonton, lost control of his tandem truck, hit a snowbank and rolled. He wasn’t wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene.

The medical examiner later discovered estazolam in his blood - a rare, powerful tranquilizer which can cause drowsiness and dizziness. It’s not clear what role the drug played in his death, if any, but Provincial Court Judge McIntosh presided over a fatality inquiry last week and is expected to report his findings in the coming months.

Some people leave certain gadgets on and we all know that one small light source will always be visualized and these can be a source of distraction. While this can be a means to know where your gadgets are at, they will not go anywhere. Especially if you are in your room, you are sure to see them before and after you sleep. But the thing to be stressed here is SLEEP!

Regardless of how small that light indicator is, here is a good device to warn you and serve as a finder on where it may be. Just remember, you don’t need them when you sleep. You need to eliminate the light sources so you can be able sleep properly and enjoy them when it is time to get up.

Displayed is a LED-illuminated wireless router. LEDs can be useful indicators of what state a gadget it is in — or where to find it — but they also bug people who’d rather not have lights shining in their faces when they’re trying to sleep or watch movies.
