Research says: To cure insomnia, don’t go to bed

Now, they are telling us, insomniacs should not even try getting sleep. It may sound like an advice that absolutely makes no sense, at first. But if you understand the rationale behind it, it doesn’t seem farfetched.

I admit I’m one of those people who need to keep the television on so that I can go to sleep. I turn the volume down; never mind if I don’t hear anything while my eyes are glued to the screen.
