If you have tried all efforts to slim down, then perhaps sleep is the answer to losing some excess pounds. Weird as it may seem, a study was able to prove this and overall showed that a good night’s sleep is your ticket to a better body and better life.
During the study, adults were asked to sleep for 8.5 and 5.5 hours. The researchers measured loss of fat and lean body mass and found that those people who slept 8.5 hours per night lost 56 per cent more body fat than those who slept only 5.5 hour

Everyone has varying sleep schedules but have you noticed any changes to your body lately? Well if you see some bulges, chances are you may have to change your sleep schedule or else face the fat!
Apparently staying up late can affect metabolism, something that helps you burn those excess calories. And a new study from the Ohio State University and the University of Haifa in Israel found through mice, that people may suffer from obesity when their sleep cycle is disrupted by exposure to light.

People over at Buffalo are about to get their sleep disorders in check as Kenmore Mercy Hospital announces the opening of their SleepCare Center. This is the third of such a facility to be opened in the Catholic Health System’s hospital network.
The sleep center is designed to diagnose and treat a variety of sleep disorders. Plans for this new sleep care center were made for years now to address patients with sleep-related problems.

The number of celebrities suffering from sleep issues continue to be revealed and today we hear that even Rihanna is having her own share of sleep problems. The singer admits that she is having difficulty in sleeping since she constantly thinks about her next career move.
The concern is nothing new, too much thinking of which has been associated with sleep distress. Much of her time has gone to making each album she makes a success.

The Consumer Product and Safety Commission (CPSC) has issued a recall order for the PBteen Sleep and Study Loft Beds, products imported by Williams-Sonoma Inc. The side rails of the bed apparently cracks down thus leading to the mattress support to collapse.
Kids or even babies may eventually be injured and there have already been reports of bed cracking or splitting. There was even a child who sustained lacerations to the head when the side rail split when he climbed down the ladder.

It looks like women don’t have to sleep like crazy to live longer. Apparently they will need only 5 to 6 hours of sleep to live longer, thanks to some research claims.
