Yawning tied up to cooling Brains

When a person yawns, it normally depicts boredom or sleepiness. But thanks to a medical report, it seems that yawning is tied up to something else, somehow similar to how a computer would need its rest after exhaustive use.

In all, yawning is not something done because a person is bored. It serves as a cooling agent of sorts as far as medical implications are concerned. Doctors may be able to use excessive yawning as a way to identify patients with conditions that affect temperature regulation.

A New Sleeping Pill called Intermezzo

It looks like there is a new sleeping pill made for people who get up in the middle of the night. The new sleeping pill is called Intermezzo, a new formula from Ambien that has just been approved by the FDA. However, there are certain dosage requirements for males and females.

Loneliness tied to Fitfull Sleep

Normally, we have all been told that a person with lots of problems will normally gain less sleep. But thanks to a study made by Lianne Kurina of the University of Chicago, her report found at the Sleep Journal may perhaps negate such beliefs. In fact, it seems that loneliness does render fitful sleep based on the study she made from a group of colonies over in South Dakota. Based on her studies, the more that lonelier the students felt, the more fitfully they slept.
