Revealing What Dreams Really Mean

Aside from trying to remember what you dreamt about (assuming that you have slept soundly) other forms of trying to interpret dreams can be hard to do if you don’t have the right equipment and resources to determine just what they exactly mean.
Dream interpretation has been something many are curious about but no one really focused on it in general. We relied on books like the ones by Sigmund Freud, but now it seems that science is trying to intervene to shed more light towards what dreams really mean.
“By applying this technology, it may become possible to record and replay subjective images that people perceive like dreams.” The mapping of dreams is possible because “While looking at an object that the eye’s retina is able to recognize an image, which is converted into electrical signals sent into the brain’s visual cortex.”

Wooh, I’m already curious to read the book. Can dreams really be interpreted? Won’t identical dream by duifferent people mean different things based on their circumstances and background. A dream of winning the lottery by a millionaire might be mis-interpreted differently by a peasant on the street with a similar dream. Can’t wait to get answers to some of my weird dreams..

Interesting view you got there. I would say that researching dreams and figuring out what they mean is not an easy task. There are so many factors to be included and connected together. Seems like a complicated thing to do, with lots of guessing.

This sounds almost too good to be true. i often find myself wondering about my weird (to put it mildly) dreams and the only conclusion I come up with is that I must be nuts!:D I just hope they won’t abandon this research and eventually i’ll be able to hook up to this machine.
