Sleep at a Hotel this New Year’s Eve

In vast places of the globe, the New Year is normally welcomed with fireworks and noises that create both air and noise pollution. Take these two factors together and you may find yourself having difficulty sleeping. So how do you avoid it?
Deciding to stay at home and closing the windows will not help. You might end up clogging your room with smoke anyway. So why not consider spending the night in a hotel where you will most probably need a break after a tumultuous year anyway?
The price may be something to consider especially during these hard economic times. But if you are looking for the best bonus or gift to give yourself, a one time investment of around $60 to $100 for an overnight stay in hotels will not really be that bad.
Give yourself a break from the pollution this coming New Year. Sleep soundly as you welcome 2009 in style!

If you think insomnia is a disease, see your doctor and get medication. if you know that you can’t sleep because you keep your own self awake by worrying, over-thinking and plain obsessing, the issue is between you and yourself and not you and your doctor. I have worked with many people who have been on ambien for years they all believed in fighting insomnia. But all fighting will keep you hyper alert. what you need to learn is to embrace sleep, soothe yourself - not be your own worst enemy. if this makes sense to you treat yourself for the holidays with a copy of : I Want to sleep - unlearning Insomnia (Dr.Siegfried Haug)
