Have you had you dental checkup lately? If not it would be recommended that you do so. As far as Dr. Kent Smith, Co-Director of the Dental Organization for Sleep Apnea, and course instructor for Sleep Breathing Disorders at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, dentistry may actually have something to do with sleep apnea and snoring.

All this will be tackled at the SomnoMed’s first Annual Symposium to be held in Oahu, Hawaii from August 14-16th. His lecture was designed to motivate dentists as they look to integrate the screening for and treatment of sleep disordered breathing in their practices.
