The Role of Obesity in Sleep Deprivation

Obesity

Many people have always believed that stuffing themselves with food to take the place of usual sleeping habits has been a good way to combat insomnia and known sleep deprivation issues we hear of today. Obesity has been another area for health concerns and surely, there is an association between sleep deprivation and obesity as studies from the National Sleep Foundation have shown.

The whole theory is quite ridiculous. While some people believe in it, it is an unhealthy way of living and making up for lack of sleep which is obviously a need today. Food has its own role in maintaining health and sad to say, it is not a good substitute when it comes to trying to make up for lost sleep.
