Sleep Less than 6 Hours May Mean Early Death

For all the workaholics and people who mythically believe that they can be more productive by sleeping less, heed this warning. A new study has found that people who sleep less than 6 hours are putting themselves at risk, possibly leading to early death if they are not careful.

Results of the research indicate that people who sleep less than six hours a night were 12% more likely to die prematurely over the 25 year period than those who slept for 6-8 hours consistently. Researchers described the link between insufficient sleep and early death as “unequivocal.”
