The PediSedate

The PediSedate is not just another GameBoy accessory. Rather, it is a form of anesthesia that sedates children prior to a medical procedure such as surgeries. This is one of those devices that had better not fall into the wrong hands. Note the slogan triangle that reads “distraction, comfort, and sedation”.
For some reason, slogans like that always give me the creeps, sort of like the one describing the society of Brave New World: “Community, Identity, Stability”. Apparently, this device is or was real, and many gadget blogs are reporting on it in celebration of Game Boy’s 20th anniversary.
