A child or any person for that matter would want anything that they can cling on to, like a pillow or a teddy bear that helps them sleep. It is common belief that this is done because of lack of security and of course some habits that most of us have been used to since we were young.
However, there is a fine line when it comes to spending for a teddy bear. They are normally affordable or perhaps given as gifts. But if you are in the market to buy one, would you spend £500,000 for it?
This teddy bear doesn’t have diamond eyes and a gold nose like the one offered by Selfridges last year, but still, it asks for a whopping half a million pounds (US $741,670). This teddy bear has gone on sale in Suffolk, England. That’s a hell of a price to be paid for a teddy, but the relief is that that the bear’s home is also included in the price.
The three-foot bear belongs to homeowner Walt McKinlay’s daughter and is now sitting on a chair next to the window of the property with a “Buy Me” sign. Mr McKinlay, 73, a retired butcher and farmer, said that the teddy is attracting attention of the property hunters. The 17th century property is in the village’s ancient market square.
