Back to School and Regular Sleep Schedules
Published by Brian Yalung August 13th, 2008 in How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues. The thing about going on vacation is that kids would be prone to doing away with the usual “sleep by this time” schedule set by their folks. This is one reason why most students always look for the summer break since they can practically do anything or stay up late either with friends, playing games or browsing the web.
After a couple of months though, it’s back to the sleep schedule so they will not be late for school. This is easier said than done. For most kids, it is appropriate to condition themselves to recall their sleeping habits since they have to attend school the next day. Outside that of avoiding being late, it is best to go to school with a well-rested body and mind so that lessons to be learned can be grasped better.
This is one reason why when school starts, you can see some kids become lazy to go to school and sit on the old school desks and chairs. Well, give them a couple of weeks and they will surely be back to normal. Just like us, kids have to get used to transition. In this case, school schedules will really force them to do so.
Here are some good sleeping tips to get back your kids on the right track as far as regulating their sleep schedule.
