Daylight Savings Time can be a Sleep Hazard

We have all been exposed to time adjustments such as daily savings time (DST) where we have to adjust hours to save on electricity and energy resources. This takes off an hour from our regular sleep and while the intent is good, it may be the other way around as far as sleep deprived people are concerned.
Our bodies have certain clocks that they follow. Even if the need of such adjustments are a given, our bodies still yearn for that proper time where we have to get up. It is at this point where we may have to make a choice; go with the time adjustment or deal with sleep deprivation issues in other means that we can.
“With sleep deprivation we are going to have delayed reaction times, we want to be more aware when driving into work, we’ll be a little more compromised, be more careful driving into work, be more prone to accidents while at work, particularly those who work in the industrial sector, working with machinery,” he said.
