With the efforts being done by GlaxoKlineSmith in purchasing exclusivity in distributing Eszopiclone which will now be known as Luniva, people who lack sleep may yet find another alternative solution to their sleeping woes.
“GSK, which has 6,000 Triangle employees, will commercialize the drug, known as eszopiclone, under the product name Lunivia for the treatment of insomnia. The drug is sold as Lunesta in the United States and is sold by Sepracor, based in Marlborough, Mass.”
