How Long Can You Go Without Sleep?

So many people feel that they can continue being awake and not get any sleep. But what for? Prestige? Overstress? You are only trying to prove yourself silly. A person alone who lacks sleep for more than 72 hours is already a crazy occurrence.

Longest Sleep HolderSure there are events such as the Guiness Book of World records for people who may hold the number of days gone without sleep but how bout the hours of foregoing the value of human life and healthy living? It is crazy to think that people can keep themselves awake and expect to live life normally. It just simply doesn’t work that way.

We encounter various events in our lives daily and to experience and take on them properly, we should recognize rest as well. We are not super beings that can go on living without rest. It is simply a crazy notion that we should erase.

    I find this really interesting, it seems silly spending almsot half of our lives lying in a bed. I believe the human being will evolve to go longer without sleep.

    I’ve looked into sleeping periods and patterns, it has been recommended that 2 periods of 4 hours of sleep, at different times, is better than a single 8 hour period. For example, resting from 7pm-1am, getting up then sleeping again from 3am-7am.
