The only certificate program in Arizona is getting underway come this May 24. Called the Polysomnography Technology (PSG), this new program will train pre-qualified students to analyze and monitor patients for disorders.
According to the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists an estimated 50-70 million people in the United States are suffering from a chronic sleep disorder, leaving the job outlook for PSG Technologists excellent. Technologists work in a variety of patient care settings, which include Sleep Disorders Centers, located in hospitals and clinics.
