Night Lights Linked to Breast Cancer

There are people who hate to sleep in the dark. Some of them go as far as using night lights or leaving the room light on. But based on a research, it was found that night lights are somewhat contributing to breast cancer thus becoming a potential threat while they are sleeping.

The risk of developing breast cancer, something common in most women seems to be placed at a higher level due to lighting. Actually the test was aimed to see if there was an associating with lung cancer but instead, it all pointed towards breast cancer for women.

“By no means are we saying that light at night is the only or the major risk factor for breast cancer,” said lead researcher Itai Kloog, “but we found a clear and strong correlation that should be taken into consideration.”
