Proudly put on this badge after you read the great info from sleepnaked.org! Check out just a bit of the benefits of sleepin in your birthday suit!
Comfort and health
Not only is sleeping naked more comfortable, but it’s good for your health too. Increasing your level of comfort makes it easier for you to relax and sleep, so you get a better night’s kip. The resulting deeper, longer sleep makes it easier for your body to regenerate and repair itself, and build up your energy for the day ahead.
Sexual benefitsIf you sleep with a partner, being naked heightens the level of intimacy between you, and you are likely to have sex more often. You may also feel closer to your partner as a result of sleeping naked with them. There is also evidence of improved fertility in men as a result of being in cooler conditions thanks to wearing less clothing.
Work and lifestyle benefitsIf you find yourself tired in the morning or during the day even though you’ve had at-least eight hours sleep, you may only be sleeping lightly for that period of time. As mentioned earlier, sleeping naked allows your body to relax more immediately, and you are more likely to fall into a deeper sleep more quickly and wake up refreshed.
But don’t just take my word for it, try it out!

How cute and I am wondering if the author of this is perhaps male? I have noticed that on average its men who sleep buff and women who wear nightwear, could be that they have to get up at night to take care of crying babies while the nude man sleeps through it all.
I LOVE SLEEPING NAKED!
We sleep nekkid and have a 4 yr. old. It was much easier to take care of a baby while sleeping naked - especially if you’re a breastfeeding mom and that baby is sleeping right next to you. Everybody sleeps better naked and babies sleep best next to a wam mom, too. Yes, now our 4 yr. old sleeps separate and we keep jammies next to the bed.
Yes, I love sleeping naked too! (well with boxers on)
No, it’s not just men who sleep in the nude. My husband and I were both committed nude sleepers from way before we were married - in my case from early childhood, thanks to enlightened parents, who didn’t see the need for nightclothes for either adults or children. Once our children (2M/1F, now all in their late teens/early twenties) came along, we took the decision to stay sleeping that way. Dressing-gowns catered for the midnight feeding/attention duties, while crawling into bed in the middle of the night to discover Mum and Dad in their birthday suits doesn’t seem to have damaged our kids, but merely encouraged them to follow suit once they were reliably dry and capable of keeping the covers on.
Oh, this is great info. Thank you for sharing your personal experiences. I have to convince my gf to sleep naked too.
It is so true - rather then getting tangled up in clothing during the night it is a much freer sleep. Also as far as intimacy goes, there is no greater feeling then feeling my boyfriends bare skin on mine.
Kathleen you are much too negative, getting up with the baby is a two way street, get over it and relax, get naked they make housecoats for males as well.
Yes, i couldn’t agree more, sleeping naked is definitely the best best way.
So it’s not taboo anymore? Cool. I’m out of the closet, then! :o)

Shut up and don’t be so sexist, Kathleen.
