Sleeping Pods for the Sleepy Travelers

Napcabs

We have heard of the advent of sleep pods integrated into airports but now it seems the whole thing has become a familiar fixture in airports. Popular in Europe and the United States, the pods offer akeen alternative for travelers who want to forego staying in traditional hotels and are nearer to the airport (to eliminate travel time).

Minute Suites has a history of operating these pods, something that can be traced all the way back to 2009. The suites are bookable in 15 minute increments, offered to travelers 24/7.

Each 7ft-by-8ft cabin is equipped with a daybed with bedding and pillows, an alarm clock, TV, desk and chair. The pods stand to be a great solution for the on-the-go travelers, providing them a place to rest even for a couple of minutes before they board their next flight. They should be great solutions as well for folks who may find themselves waiting for delayed flights.
