The Great Fall Sleep-A-Thon
It seems that more people these days are trying to reach out and get everyone aware that not all of us have the luxury to sleep in cozy beds or homes. In fact, a large number of people in most states today often wander out into the streets and look for sane places to rest and sleep. Some have made do with abandoned buildings or even the standard alleys. But the fact of the matter is, these are no places for a person to sleep in.
So we have another sponsor to raise this awareness. While there was already a previous post for a call to address the sleepless and the homeless here is another effort being pushed by “The Singing Machine”, which has proudly announced that it is sponsoring the Miami Rescue Mission and Broward Outreach Center “Great Fall Sleep-A-Thon.”
“The Singing Machine has some of the most wonderful people working there and they are also working very hard to help our organization” commented Nina Corbe, Community Development Associate at the Broward Outreach Center in Pompano. “We are so grateful for their involvement.”
