Online gaming has been identified as one of the major reasons why most kids and teens are losing sleep, being glued too much on their computer to play their online adventure games and slug it out with other players from the world. Apparently, this means sacrificing sleep as well, something that has become a concern for parents on the health of their kids.
Blizzard Entertainment cannot be blamed for developing such games. In fact, much of the responsibility is pegged at the hands of the actual players and the parents in being able to control the frequency of their log on times.
The law should be laid out by the parents. Games and vices will always be there but the ultimate decision of disciplining themselves should be the main objective if they are to address the issue of lack of sleep and sleep deprivation among kids and teens.

Well, i have played world of warcraft for five years. sleeping and warcraft do not hardly ever coincide. if you are a dedicated player you will generally be awake from 7 p.m till 5-8 in the morning. that being said. there are many different guilds (groups of people who you “belong to”) that have different scheduled times to be on. some are very lenient and will be on from 3 p.m till 8 or 9 p.m. there are also people who will go to certain servers on a different time frame than they are. i could go to a server that is three hours past my time. i could do the late raids but i would get to bed at a decent hour. people constantly point fingers at the game, or being too “into” the game, or some other mindless nonsense. it has nothing to do with the parents because most parents tend to freak out on kids who stay up all night (mine especially) so its all according to the actual player. you dont half to stay up all night and lose sleep. there are all of those above said options to choose from. sleep depravation is cause by the player. period. end of story. get a different guild, another realm, or a different game. world of warcraft doesnt add to anyones sleep depravation. the player does it to theirself.
