A new study has showed that yoga, sex and hot water are things you may want to consider if you truly want a good night’s sleep.
The ReDormin Sleep study shared that a person who practices yoga can increase sleep by 64 minutes while the remaining two – making love and a hot shower – can provide you with 6 minutes of extra sleep.
Yoga reportedly quietens that adrenal and cortisol responses, calming a person’s mind to rest. Showering on the other hand cools the body to an optimum temperature, enabling a person to sleep more relaxed.
Yoga has three aspects – person’s physical, mental and spiritual state. The first one is helps ease tight muscles, increase strength mobility and balance the nervous system.
Mentally, it is actually the brain which keeps people awake at night and day while on the spiritual side of things, referring to the ability to meditate and ultimately relax.
