Published by Brian Yalung September 1st, 2007 in Health Issues, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues.
It is common for some people to experience some drowsy spells that make them lazy to go up and about. However, there are limitations and excessive drowsiness and sleep may not be as healthy for the body as people may think.
The Kleine-Levin Syndrome may be a sleep disorder that anyone may have for such cases. It is not a one shot deal wherein one day you feel like staying in bed and the next time you want to do everything at once. There are other symptoms associated with the Kleine-Levin Syndrome as well:
- Excessive Food Intake
- Irritability
- Disorientation
- Lack of energy
- Hypersensitivity to Noise
- Hallucinations
- Unusual Sex Drives
There is no definite treatment found yet and studies are still being done at the moment. Check out yourself or people you know who may have any of these symptoms. It may be serious than what you think.
