Giving up Sleep for Success
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung July 18th, 2008 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Apnea, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues. We have always been told, if you want to succeed in anything you do, be ready for sacrifice. Now along that line, you have to think if sleep is included. Success comes in a lot of ways such as needing to extend the times you are awake so you can think and not wasting a single second so that you can be able to cover everything as much as possible.
But while this is something that can really push you towards the success, it is your health due to lack of sleep that is eventually going to suffer. Constant thinking, anxiety and unresolved issues to make sure that deals or even your current business will not flunk are among the things that keep you awake. While you are being worried about how to grow your business and get rich, eventually you may find all that money useful after all. Unfortunately for paying your hospital bills since you have so much disregarded your overall health.

“There will be periods in life where you have to give up sleep so you can accomplish something big,” Krieger says. “Just know that you can only do that for a certain period of time or there will be long-term consequences.”

Muscles Need Sleep to Regenerate Strength
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung July 14th, 2008 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Education, Sleep Issues.
Sleep has a lot of benefits. Aside from the usual rest that most people long for, it also has its share of contributing towards people who undertake strenuous exercises such as sports and body building. Hence, while you are counting your calories, it would be best to see the power that sleep can bring as far as pulling the overall power back to normal.
Apparently factors such as proper sleeping hours and the bed we lay on are relevant. We are often told to get some rest. Now on how to analyze and go about it is another thing. We just have to think practical.
Sleep helps your body heal. It’s really the only time your muscles can completely rest and recover. There are a ton of studies linking sleep with healing. They show that, among other things, human growth hormone and melatonin, both of which play a big role in tissue recovery and immunity, are produced during sleep.
So if you’re not getting good sleep-whether it’s due to pain, anxiety, fear or whatever-you’re not giving your muscles, especially your back muscles, time to rejuvenate themselves for the next day’s activities.

Sleep to Enjoy Vacation Breaks
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung April 3rd, 2008 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Fun, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders.
As far as breaks and vacations are concerned, some people would tend to allow their anxiety get the better of them thus overlooking the value of sleep above all. While sleep is certainly something viable, it remains that wherever you may be, it remains that you should still observe the proper need for sleep.
Of course, most tourists would say that why sleep when you are on vacation? You can sleep a lot when you get back home? But that is just the thing, you want to enjoy vacation but if you tire yourself out, you may end up dozing off and totally not enjoy your break from the rigors of the real world.
Just remember, you are traveling and exploring places. But that doesn’t mean you have to abuse your body. You still have to sleep. Raise the value of your trip. If not, you may end up blaming yourself for falling asleep on it.
“Don’t be tempted to keep later hours, drink more alcohol and eat richer foods than normal as all those things will add to the disturbed sleep you are already in for.”

Most of the time, people are left in awe at what entertains them the most. Once this does occur, they tend to extend viewing or surfing time in favor of sleep just to fulfill their curiosity. This is nothing new both to the young and old people who lack sleep. This is practically seen today. People complain about sleep. But the matter of trying to control their sleep management should not come as a surprise when the issue booms out of ordinary proportions.

Depression Causes Sleepless Nights
1 Comment Published by Brian Yalung July 7th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, Insomnia, SLEEP Video, Sleep Apnea, Sleep Disorders.People who are yearning for sleep are always looking for various ways to get it. However, internal depression may be hard to go by. Many figure to set their minds towards something else. Now depression medications may be a solution, but not all of them cure the problem of sleeping. The reason for this is that some of these medications have anxiety stimulants and thus makes a person have problems sleeping after treating the depression problem.
The best way is to consult your medical physician for help. He can more or less tell you what you need to do to get over depression and sleeping problems.
