Would you Get Your Baby this Downtime Organic Sleepytime Mask?
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 31st, 2008 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Gadgets, SLEEP News, Sleep Issues, Sleep Wear.
We all know of this new sleeping enhancement called a sleep mask. However, we only know it to be applicable to the adults today as many sleep deprived individuals need these masks to assist them in sleeping better. But a infant sleeping mask? It is either for serious baby cases or perhaps something like a toy for them to wear when they sleep.
By its concept, here is what the makers of this Downtime Organic Sleepytime Mask wants to accomplish:
“Nurturing. Children learn that closing their eyes is one step in falling asleep.
Expressive. The closed eyelashes that detail the flip-down mask let others know not to disturb baby’s sleep. “
Point taken but would babies even bother to wear them? Wouldn’t it be uncomfortable? We all know that infants are not fond of being irritated or compromised when they are sleeping.
Perhaps the makers were just concerned with putting something in the market. For sure, this is something that does not make sense at all.

While we cannot really tell when car accidents may happen, it would be wise to input in our minds one thing; if you feel drowsy or sleepy, avoid driving.
Such has been an issue is now becoming one of the primary concerns of authorities which have noted sleep deprivation as one of the major causes of car accidents today. It is apparent that most people push them to the limit but if it is your life that is in jeopardy, you better consider addressing your sleep problem firsthand.

The man rear-ended another vehicle at the intersection of Johnson Street and Main Street around 2 p.m. Sunday. First responders thought the man was injured because he was unresponsive, said Fond du Lac Police Department Capt. Jon Gutzmann. A report on the incident was not complete by press time Monday and Gutzmann did not know the man’s name.
It turned out the 27-year-old man was asleep, Gutzmann said. The man told police he had a sleep disorder and the disorder had resulted in a previous collision.

Radiation Effects on Sleeping People
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 9th, 2008 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues.
Mobile phones are a rave these days but apparently, one thing that we also know is that the radiation that they emit is dangerous to us in more ways than one. It will only be a matter of time before we find out the effects that a cellular phone’s radiation can do to our overall health but sleep alone is something that will be affected, especially if we make it a habit to sleep while they are by our bedside.
This practice is a common sight we see today. Most people need their mobile phones nearby especially when they want callers to get hold of them immediately. But while that satisfies the aspect of personal and business aspects of your life, your health likewise needs the proper attention.
Doctors asked men and women between the ages of 18 and 45 to talk on cell phones before bed.
Some were exposed to radiation similar to a wireless signal. Other talked on “phoney” phones that released no radiation. Those exposed to radiation reported headaches, took longer to fall asleep and didn’t sleep well through the night.

Sleep in the Right Places
1 Comment Published by Brian Yalung June 14th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Fun, SLEEP Video, Sleep Humor. When traveling here and there, it will come to a point where people will want to take a short nap or doze of unexpectedly. Especially for people who travel using airplanes, they are given the right opportunity to rest freely, but entirely at their own risk.
People may cease the opportunity to do some foolish things while people are asleep. Just take this video as an example. Perhaps next time, you would think twice before sleeping lackadaisically.
