There is a new product you should watch out for after the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall for Nap Nanny Portable Baby Recliners by Baby Matters LLC of Berwyn, PA.

The product was designed for sleeping, resting and playing and includes a foam base with an inclined indentation for the infant to sit, along with a fitted fabric cover and a three point harness. The first generation model does not have ā€œDā€-rings for the harness.

Simplicity and Graco Baby Cribs Recalled

Another wave of baby cribs have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission due to suffocation and strangling hazards affecting small kids. Apparently the problem is traced to the tubular mattress-support frames which can bend or break thus causing the mattress to collapse.

Other than this, they can be an entrapment hazard. There has been at least one death caused by suffocation and 13 other incidents have been reported to the C.P.S.C. The Safety Commission urge parents not to use or attempt

Lead Painted Sleeping Bags Recalled By Disney

The lead paint issues have not yet been totally taken out of the scene as even kid network giant, Walt Disney, has reportedly recalled over 12,000 sleeping bags and magic wands that were excessively contaminated with lead paint.

Now if you are a sleeping expert, where does the lead paint come from? Well if you look closely, sleeping bags normally have zippers and they can be a cause for lead paint poisoning. For the toy wands, lead paint is present in the pearl beads in the flowers of the toy.
