Set Bedtime Rules for you Kids to Sleep Early
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung October 27th, 2008 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Fun, SLEEP News, Sleep Issues.
Apparently, parenting can be a nuisance if you don’t know how to handle your kids and get them to bed on time. Especially if they have these distractions such as computer games, gadgets or even have friends over, chances are even you may lose sleep with all the racket that they may be making. So how do you deal with them?
The key is to set some rules when its time to hit the sack. No playing of games or even placing them outside the room towards a neutral place in your home would be nice. Also, the usual lights out can always do the trick as kids constrained in the dark can force them to sleep as they have nothing else to do to distract them.
Some kids may have nightmares from trauma from these practices. But you can do some things to turn them into dreams. Just set your rules and stand by them. It may be hard for parents with soft-hearts but health and good sleep is bound to be the best result to negate all of it.

A Pillow All Moms Must Have
2 Comments Published by Brian Yalung August 3rd, 2008 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Fun.At times, a mother will perhaps want some time out but a husband and especially the kids may not even notice when she would want it. While a mom makes it a point to do all the chores even if she is exhausted, it may come to a point that she will want to sleep without any distractions.
It is in these cases that this door pillow may come in handy. The “Mommy Needs Sleep” door pillow stresses a point without needing to shout or make it clear that she is dead tired. Hanging it outside her bedroom is enough to tell the people in the house to not to disturb her.
A good buy for $5.00 only.

Why you should Sleep with the Lights Off
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung November 16th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Gadgets, Sleep Issues.
There are people who are afraid of the dark. Many of us restrict them to the kids today, seemingly afraid of fabled stories that include monsters being around once the lights are out. Of course, we all know that this is a sleep myth to get them to go to bed without any complaints.
However, lights provide a hindrance for people who want to sleep better. The rays and the lights that we usually have to deal with once our eyes are shut are distractions. Now for some people who need light to be able to see things when they have to get up at times, a nightlight will often be around and available.
Sleeping better can be done with the lights off. Dim or dark as much as possible is the best way to get a good night’s sleep. For people who need light at night, well, make it as low as possible. You just cannot deal with a small glimpse of light that may eventually become a distraction and a cause for you not to sleep properly.

Soft Clothes Bring Soft Sleep
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung July 13th, 2007 in Dreams, How to sleep better, Pajamas, SLEEP Fun, SLEEP Video, Sleep Wear, Snoring.Who says babies need to have the thick and soft cushions to be able to sleep well? With the help of fabric softeners and proper laundry on clothes, the search for the soft and comfortable position that infants look for can be gotten even from parents who wear hygiene and well-maintained clothes.
For babies, foams or mattresses are not really the key towards being able to sleep soundly. Sometimes if they get to satisfy that position and overall softness when they lie down, they can openly sleep despite the distractions such as loud snoring, that may hinder their sleep.
