When a person yawns, it normally depicts boredom or sleepiness. But thanks to a medical report, it seems that yawning is tied up to something else, somehow similar to how a computer would need its rest after exhaustive use.

One of the more high profile people who seems to have sleep apnea is that of NBA star Shaquille O’ Neal. The 7-foot-1 300 pound center has been encouraged by his girlfriend to seek some help, apparently a witness that “the Diesel” snores and has potential sleep apnea.

Somaxon has gotten a big boost after Proctor & Gamble promised to help them sell Silenor to thousands of U.S. doctors and pharmacies. Both companies have agreed in principle to start the marketing efforts for the new sleep drug this September.
