But thanks to a study made by Lianne Kurina of the University of Chicago, her report found at the Sleep Journal may perhaps negate such beliefs. In fact, it seems that loneliness does render fitful sleep based on the study she made from a group of colonies over in South Dakota. Based on her studies, the more that lonelier the students felt, the more fitfully they slept.
