While we are all aware that sleep is equally important, some sleeping patters are sure to change along with this. Most people don’t like it but to help save up on energy resources, this is the best solution they can think of right now until someone can cite any other recourse in lieu of it. According to a survey released this week by the U.S.-based National Sleep Foundation, most people simply aren&#8217;t getting enough sleep. Studies suggest we replay the day&#8217;s events in our minds when we sleep, and if we don&#8217;t get enough (sleep, that is) these events don&#8217;t get implanted into our memory. Missing another hour of sleep this weekend when we move our clocks ahead will most likely contribute to a frenzy of forgetfulness. This takes off an hour from our regular sleep and while the intent is good, it may be the other way around as far as sleep deprived people are concerned. Our bodies have certain clocks that they follow. Even if the need of such adjustments are a given, our bodies still yearn for that proper time where we have to get up. It is at this point where we may have to make a choice; go with the time adjustment or deal with sleep deprivation issues in other means that we can. &#8220;With sleep deprivation we are going to have delayed reaction times, we want to be more aware when driving into work, we&#8217;ll be a little more compromised, be more careful driving into work, be more prone to accidents while at work, particularly those who work in the industrial sector, working with machinery,&#8221; he said.
