And we are not talking just about health concerns but more of a matter of life and death since due to his large frame, he could not get more than 45 minutes of sleep due to the fat that folded around his neck which practically choked him. Seamus Sanders, 47, had to deal with the problem for 6 years of sleepless nights. Only until 2006 when he underwent gastric bypass did was he able to finally get some decent shuteye. Seems like we better watch out weight. There are other problems that may come in the way, choking of which is due to the bulge. Paltrow admits that she doesn’t get enough sleep and has even turned to a book, “Light’s Out: Sleep, Sugar and Survival” by T.S. Wiley to get some sensible shuteye. Some of Paltrow’s health concerns she discussed with her doctor include aging and hormonal imbalances, something that affects some women in their mid to late 30s. Paltrow’s doctors advised her to get some natural sunlight everyday, relaxation techniques before bed, eliminating caffeine and an adequate fitness regime to help her get at least eight hours of solid sleep per night.
When you talk about eating profusely, people normally turn to cutting down what they eat as far as added calories is concerned. But according to a study, you can eat less if you sleep more. Does it make sense? While studies are reliable, it seems like this is similar to sleeping more even if it means craving for something in your stomach. Would that be good or bad? The reason for this is would foregoing sleep in times of hunger possibly lead to other health problems like ulcers? Losing weight is one thing but affecting the other health concerns is another. We all want to get good sleep and keep fit, but there is some doubt with regards to the reliability of this scientific finding.
When it comes to trying to make up for lost sleep, you should not really rush it in the way that most people believe it can be. The thing is, proper sleeping habits can only be achieved the natural way and time is sure to be a critical element towards putting your sleeping habits back towards its regular state. Today, if you are not properly rested, sleep will come back to haunt and collect in the form of deteriorating health. It is a given that people today value sleep unlike before. Being productive is one thing but not being able to sleep in the way that people are traditionally known to be can lead to dire consequences which at most can damage health concerns for people today. Sleeping too little messes with your mind and hurts your body. Sleep not only makes you feel sharp and rested; it seems to play a key role in how the brain sorts out information and lays down long-term memories. And a lack of sleep has been associated with maladies ranging from cardiovascular disease to depression the CDC says.
