Energy Drinks Keep You Awake?
1 Comment Published by Brian Yalung May 30th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP News, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Myths.
There have been a lot of energy drinks made available in the market today. These drinks such as that of Chin Chin Vitality Boost or Red Bull are mainly used to help add boost in the active lifestyles of most athletes. However today, many people have used them as a means of being awake since most of them have caffeine which we all know is the prime enemy of sleep.
While the added energy for sleep deprived people is a benefit, it cannot be discounted that most people will have to deal with sleep and fatigue at some point. It is simply something that is only a temporary resort and people should be aware of it.
This is a clear abuse of health. While it is okay to consume them from time to time, making it a habit will eventually become risky and people should be aware that the human body can take only so much.

Scheduling your Sleeping Hours
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 16th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders. For a hectic day ahead, especially for people who work professionally and have to do their usual chores at home, many would be surprised that there are times where their recommended sleeping hours would be affected. For some people, it would not matter as long as they are able to adhere towards their demands and the requirements that they and their families need for survival. But health is obviously taking a backseat and in the end, it will be the people who abuse their bodies that will pay the price.
It is indeed hard for some people to follow a certain time table for their body clock to follow. In most cases, the time table is not followed for one reason or another. This usually occurs when pressure mounts and in times where people have to adhere towards the rising demands for individual expectations in attaining personal and professional goals.
One can just think of how high goals have been set individually. Some may be realistic and others not. Whichever the case may be, people know themselves better. But abusing bodies will take its toll at a certain point and people must be ready to face the consequences surrounding their health.

Matching Lifestyle with Proper Sleeping Hours
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 16th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Myths. The lifestyle of a person is something that would usually be overlooked. The wear and tear of a body would depend on the level of activities that any person would be doing. Some may be able to keep up with the pace, but as everything else, it would all come to a point where they would have to admit that limits with regards to their health is an obvious reality.
Among the factors for consideration is the amount of sleep that hyperactive people need to follow. Some would sacrifice sleep in favor of being more productive. However, it is not always the case for people who take their health for granted. Sleeping is something important to anyone.
Aside from being able to rest, saving up energy to perform the needed tasks they have set forth is something that they should also put into consideration.

Sleepin Naked is Good for You!!! (Fire Hazards Aside)
11 Comments Published by alender March 31st, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Fun, SLEEP News, SLEEP Psychology.
Proudly put on this badge after you read the great info from sleepnaked.org! Check out just a bit of the benefits of sleepin in your birthday suit!
Comfort and health
Not only is sleeping naked more comfortable, but it’s good for your health too. Increasing your level of comfort makes it easier for you to relax and sleep, so you get a better night’s kip. The resulting deeper, longer sleep makes it easier for your body to regenerate and repair itself, and build up your energy for the day ahead.
Sexual benefitsIf you sleep with a partner, being naked heightens the level of intimacy between you, and you are likely to have sex more often. You may also feel closer to your partner as a result of sleeping naked with them. There is also evidence of improved fertility in men as a result of being in cooler conditions thanks to wearing less clothing.
Work and lifestyle benefitsIf you find yourself tired in the morning or during the day even though you’ve had at-least eight hours sleep, you may only be sleeping lightly for that period of time. As mentioned earlier, sleeping naked allows your body to relax more immediately, and you are more likely to fall into a deeper sleep more quickly and wake up refreshed.
But don’t just take my word for it, try it out!
