For people into camping, sleeping on the floor (or the ground) seems to be imminent. But if you want to sleep a bit in style, why not try how Indians slept in the early years and figure out how they could sleep in Teepees?

This is now possible over at Alberta, offering campers an alternative place to sleep. Sundance Lodges in Kananaskis Country rents out 12 tepees, each sitting on a private, forested site on grounds with views of Mount Allen, Mount Lorette and Mount Kidd, with the Kananaskis River a short walk away.

The tepees have a wooden floor and come equipped with a kerosene heater and foam mattresses inside and a picnic table and firepit outside.

This month, people will be made aware on the sensitivity of sleep disorders through the various symptoms which are normally taken for granted. Sleep disorders are increasingly becoming rampant among Indians leading to a call for more regular checkups.

The sleep awareness month will see Indian Sleep Disorders Association (ISDA) and pharmaceutical company Abbott India organize various awareness programs, including camps, with healthcare professionals who are experts in the field of insomnia and other sleep-related issues in metros and smaller cities across India.
