Sleep Anywhere but the Office
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung September 28th, 2007 in How to sleep better, Sleep Issues.
Sleeping needs comfort most of the time and most people get this from beds or sofas. However, for the working professionals of today who serve office work, they encounter some instances where they have to sleep overnight at the office to make sure that they meet deadlines. Apparently these instances do not have the liberty of time hence the need to maximize and extend working hours which may not sit well.
Although some employees have been given the go signal to take naps at the office, nothing beats the actual comfort that most people can obtain from sleeping in their actual rooms and homes.

Sleeping on the Job Will Cost You!
1 Comment Published by Brian Yalung September 22nd, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Issues.
Everyone has been given the liberty of sleeping as they wish but never on the job! This includes routine office work or even the security personnel who are tasked of safeguarding property and lives. While it may come boring at times, it cannot be discounted that some people would want to steal some minutes of shuteye. The thing is you just have to be creative and time it properly so you will not be noticed.
The after-effect may be unthinkable and disastrous for some job-related functions. There are breaks to which to catch short naps. But sleeping while on duty may prove to be costly. Hence, there is the need to be up and about in times of these.

Less Sleep Results in Memory Loss
3 Comments Published by Brian Yalung September 16th, 2007 in How to sleep better, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues.
It is pure logic to note that people who take lesser sleep and continue to abuse their minds and bodies to the hilt may eventually have memory loss for their troubles. It is only normal to note that this may occur considering that sleep has always been known to be essential towards people who batter their minds and continuously want to make the most of their time.
We all need to sleep. Naps may be good but is not enough. We should all still follow the usual 6 to 8 hours of sleep. Some may tend to go beyond that but then again, the self-discipline of when to get up and when to do our regular routine is entirely dependent on us. We should know when to sleep and when to wake up if we truly value our health and our daily performance in whatever work or usual routine we have to carry out.

Sleepy People Should Not Drive
1 Comment Published by Brian Yalung July 2nd, 2007 in SLEEP Fun, SLEEP Video, Sleep Humor. We all know that it has been advised to most drivers not to push them to drive their cars if they are not totally attentive to the roads. Some people are told to take short naps rather than take the risk of incurring accidents.
Maybe if you have this kind of gas station in your area that cares for sleepy drivers, then you have lesser things to worry about.

Does Your Child need Sleep Training?
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung June 10th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP Psychology, SLEEP Video, Sleep Disorders. Many parents overlook it, but sometimes the manner to which children are taking naps or sleep is important. Usually, children who are unable to sleep properly would be ignored. But the thing is, one important in the growth of children is sleep, getting the proper rest for them to lead healthy young lives.
There are various practices to improve on sleeping. Sleep training is offered to kids since ideally, sleep may not be that relevant to them unless they are educated properly. There may be people who would not give sleep training much thought. However, it is better to give due attention to sleep training before children mature and forego the importance of sleep in their actual lives thereon.
