Having a nightlight by your nursery should be a good idea so that parents can easily check on their babies in the wee hours and when all the lights are turned off. But if you want to be a little bit eco-friendly about it, the Modern Treetop Baby’s wooden bird house night lights should be a good enhancer, safe and non-toxic to have to keep your baby in sight. The Modern Treetop Baby’s wooden bird house night lights are made from handcrafted and natural Japanese Kiri wood. They are hand-painted to offer a safe additional element to nurseries, ensuring that your toddlers can be easily attended too when the need arises. And of course, having this night light is a great idea for babies and/or kids who are normally known to be afraid of the dark. For people who love to get up in the middle of the night to grab a snack or just to go to the bathroom, the Nightmare Before Christmas Nightlights should be the perfect aid for you. The nightlight features no less than Jack Skellington, a simple plug-in nightlight that should offer a different kind of addition to your home. While it does show Jack with a smile, kids who may not be too familiar with it may not approve of it, unless perhaps it is Halloween or something. Regardless, it could be a great nightlight to have in rooms, or alternatively a neat gift to hand out too. At least people don’t have to worry about stumbling or tripping each time they get up from sleep in the wee hours of the morning. For kids, it would perhaps be because they are afraid of the dark while for adults, a small glow to help them find their way in the room when they need to go to the bathroom or to the kitchen for a bite could be pretty much welcome. Whichever way you look at it, the Glo Nighlights offer a futuristic-looking illumination that will be useful in any home. Though it does look like something that comes from an alien planet, their functionality in times of need without having to open those brighter lights and ruin your sleepy daze is something that will certainly be advantageous on your end. Alternatively, they are fun to play with as well and come in your choice of colors. If you want the Glo Nightlights, you can pick them up for just $80.
For the people who want to sleep and not leave the lights on, here is a cool creation from Vanessa Hordies. It is a lamp that comes with an integrated hour glass which acts as the timer. The hourglass runs when you turn it over, carrying a 15 minute timer that is activated as the sound slowly trickles down. This should be a great nightlight to have in the room, something that will automatically turn off when the timer is up. Designers built it around the notion that the average person takes between 10 and 20 minutes to fall asleep.
There are people who are afraid of the dark. Many of us restrict them to the kids today, seemingly afraid of fabled stories that include monsters being around once the lights are out. Of course, we all know that this is a sleep myth to get them to go to bed without any complaints. However, lights provide a hindrance for people who want to sleep better. The rays and the lights that we usually have to deal with once our eyes are shut are distractions. Now for some people who need light to be able to see things when they have to get up at times, a nightlight will often be around and available. Sleeping better can be done with the lights off. Dim or dark as much as possible is the best way to get a good night’s sleep. For people who need light at night, well, make it as low as possible. You just cannot deal with a small glimpse of light that may eventually become a distraction and a cause for you not to sleep properly.
