Rather than wait for an alarm clock go off, the Ring Alarm Clock is something worn and uses vibration action to get you up on the right side of bed. The Ring Alarm Clock was designed by Meng Fandi, addressing issues where only the proper person would get up once the time comes. The clock makes use of two rings which will be worn by an individual. The rings vibrate once it is time to get up where the base unit allows users to set the time for the two rings and also juice them up. The Ring Alarm Clock is a neatly designed concept, something that should only wake up the people who need to get up and without posing a nuisance for people who want to get more shuteye even if their mate needs to get up and go.
Sleeping at the right temperature can be a bane especially during the hot summer days but with the Sleep Assisting Sleep Pad, all that may very well be resolved. The pad can be simply put on any bed where it will reduce the surface temperature of a person’s skin to several degrees to make sure he or she can find better sleep with the right temperature. This is a gel-filled pad that absorbs the body’s heat and cools down without the need of any electrical aid. Just place it beneath the sheets of your bed and lie down. The cool thing about this sleep assisting sleep pad is that it allows users to move or sleep in any position they prefer, not a nuisance as far as being irritated of laying on bed since it is something that one may not practically find one he goes off to slumberland.
Technology has its way of making its way even up to our subconscious selves and with texting a craze these days, it is not really surprising to find some teens falling into this thing called Sleep Texting. It doesn’t really require a lot of explaining, it is what it is – people texting even during sleep. Experts believe that such a phenomenon has become so popular nowadays but will still have the usual repercussions. And the easiest way to sum it all up is that people who get text messages even during the wee hours end up waking up and suffer from disruptive sleep. “Twenty percent are awakened in the middle of the night by getting a text, email or phone call. Not good,” said Dr. Kevin Smith, a pediatric sleep psychologist. So while many believe that this is cool, in the end it may not be so. Sleep Texting is indeed gaining popularity but health-wise, it will take its toll and be a nuisance in the long run.
Gadgets and devices are awesome but they don’t seem so hot if you sacrifice sleep for them. Being infatuated with latest devices like the iPad or even a netbook, it is a fact that we have foregone sleep in lieu of them since we seem to be very much infatuated with their functions. And through a poll conducted by the National Sleep Foundation, it was found that about 95% of Americans use these devices an hour before bedtime and potentially wrecks a person’s body block. Did I say an hour before? For some people, a single ring will get them up and about and practically ruin their sleep all the way. Whether you get to sleep less or not at all, the point remains that devices have become a nuisance to sleep. A solution? Try and isolate yourself from the devices or better yet, don’t have them in your room. Define your bedroom as a sleeping place with nothing else. The more gadgets and devices you have, the poorer sleep you can expect.
Apparently, parenting can be a nuisance if you don’t know how to handle your kids and get them to bed on time. Especially if they have these distractions such as computer games, gadgets or even have friends over, chances are even you may lose sleep with all the racket that they may be making. So how do you deal with them? The key is to set some rules when its time to hit the sack. No playing of games or even placing them outside the room towards a neutral place in your home would be nice. Also, the usual lights out can always do the trick as kids constrained in the dark can force them to sleep as they have nothing else to do to distract them. Some kids may have nightmares from trauma from these practices. But you can do some things to turn them into dreams. Just set your rules and stand by them. It may be hard for parents with soft-hearts but health and good sleep is bound to be the best result to negate all of it.

The thing with sleep apnea these days is that it congests the nasal airway passages, thereby leading to obstructive breathing and eventual snoring in the process. There are various solutions provided such as the ever so popular CPAP masks to help aid people when they sleep but the matter of comfort has not been properly covered. Some people find it a nuisance to wear masks, taking them out of their comfort zone just to avoid sleep obstruction and get the supposed sleeping respite that people should be readily enjoying. With this new kind of alternative, a single nasal tube which will deliver warm and humidified air at a high flow rate can improve patient outcomes with the said sleeping disorder. The study was conducted at the John Hopkins University. The article can be read in full at the Scientific American Science News section. a airway_passages, cpap_masks, How to sleep better, john_hopkins_university, nuisance, obstructive, respite, Sleep Apnea, Sleep Apnea, Sleep Cures, SLEEP Gadgets, SLEEP Gadgets, SLEEP News, SLEEP News, Sleep Wear, Sleep Wear, sleep-better, sleeping_disorder, sleep_apnea, Snoring, Snoring
a
