Nurses are known to have sleep issues due to their shifts. About 25% of nurses reportedly can go as much as 24 hours without sleep just to adjust but this is considered a poor remedy to correct the circadian clock issue they are facing.
According to some researchers, there are strategies that nurses undergo. This includes sleeping in late on mornings before the first night shift and maintaining a night schedule on their day offs. Depending on how you look at it, these could be great strategies. H
