Sleeping Soundly With a Teddy-SNAKE?
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung November 30th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP News.
We all know that most people, especially the children, just cannot sleep soundly without something to cuddle or hug when they are in bed. But for this kid, he cannot sleep without the presence of a large python by his side.
(Source) Usually it’s a cuddly teddy bear or a favourite action figure that kids need before they can get to bed. But not for Cambodian six-year-old Sambath Uon; he needs “Lucky”, his trusty six-metre long python, before he can sleep.
Whoa, now that is something different. We all know that snakes are not the safest of animals to have as pets, more so to have them by your side when you are sleeping!
But if there is one thing that is a sign of good for this child, he may be holding such a prestige for now. That is unless the python has a change of heart and attacks.

2 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 30th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Myths. So many people feel that they can continue being awake and not get any sleep. It is crazy to think that people can keep themselves awake and expect to live life normally. It just simply doesn’t work that way.
We encounter various events in our lives daily and to experience and take on them properly, we should recognize rest as well. We are not super beings that can go on living without rest. It is simply a crazy notion that we should erase.
Here is a good article to read on: 11 sleepless nights set new world record but why risk your health?
