Business Professionals Develop Sleep Problems Due to Inflation
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung July 8th, 2008 in Dreams, How to sleep better, SLEEP News, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Business, Sleep Issues.
Today, inflation is an obvious presence and for most of us today, it is apparent that we will be forever thinking and staying up late to think of alternative to survive in this world that has gone beyond borders. Businesses are faltering one after the other and for the modern businessman, unless you act quickly, chances are you will lose a lot of things including sleep.
The key towards good sleep is to be able to lay on your comfy bed without much to think about. But today, this is a rarity for the breadwinners as we enter an age where financial incapacity pushes us to act further. Apparently we all know that financial survival is something that we all think about everyday so don’t be surprised if in the end, another expense for sleep-related disorders and treatment will soon join our daily expenditures.
”It’s no surprise that professions in the industries worst hit by the credit crunch come top of the charts,” notes director of sleep, Leigh McCarron.
“We all know that money worries and job security are key drivers of stress which in turn, leads to significant sleep loss.”

Sleeping through the Rainy Season
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung August 8th, 2007 in How to sleep better, Sleep Issues, Sleep Myths.
Better sleep can usually be solicited if some areas of satisfaction that people look for are satisfied. Climates and room temperature will always be among these factors and the colder it is, the better for some people. This is not to mention that people who live in the polar ice caps are the ideal place to sleep well. This is more inclined towards temperature derived from changing season such as the transition from warm sunny days towards cold rainy days.
True enough, people find the rainy season as something that would make a person drowsy and lazy. People would rather sleep out the rainy days in their homes if they had a choice since it is hard to get up and carry on the normal duties of their lives.
While it is true that people should get enough sleep, they should also consider not taking too much of it. Too much sleep will produce bulging eye bags and not to mention put professions in peril. People who become lazy because of the weather may want to retreat and consider the risks they are playing around with. Sleep the right way and try to save some disciplinary things in the process.

Adjusting Your Body Clock for Work Shifts
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung May 14th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP News, SLEEP Psychology, Sleep Disorders.
A reality today is that most of the professions that people find them into may need the overall body adjustment of the body clock. It is something that has been a need since a lot of the current jobs, like call center agents and medical related professions as nursing. Hence, all people are susceptible in the need to adjust their sleeping and active hours making it a necessity for them to be able to be productive as a whole.
Hence, the demand for adjusting to any scenario related to the manner of living has been an obvious occurrence in our daily lives today. This is one reason why there are growing numbers of people with sleep disorders. Some have been even gotten themselves into the insomniac syndrome, something that has been gaining attention from past years.
Many have been able to cope up with it, while some have not. The truth of it all is the fact that people have to adjust and get sleep. Without sleep, a person will not be able to produce in the manner that they are expected to. The time and age today is no longer about the usual 9 to 5 jobs we have all been exposed to. It includes catering towards the working hours of companies that cater to different time zones.
Body clock adjustments are a reality. They must be given attention and proper emphasis. It is no longer a matter of being awake and getting the proper amount of sleep. It is about finding ways of how to be active and effective, things companies and people look for. Some have taken up the challenge while some are still groping for form.

Lack of Sleep and Law enforcement
0 Comments Published by Max March 29th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP News, SLEEP Psychology.
A lot of mis-happenings in the world could have been avoided if it wasn’t for lack of sleep…
People in many high stress professions—such as medicine, law enforcement, or the military—often have to make quick decisions when they’re not well rested. New research confirms what common sense has long held: People don’t do their best thinking when they’re sleep-deprived.
