Sharing how she suffered an accident traced all the way to lack of sleep, Huffington reiterates the importance of getting the proper amount of sleep. Apparently her talk was aimed to wake up the working class, most of which sacrifice sleep to supposedly provide some semblance of productivity in the financial aspect. Sadly, while this may hold true at times, health is something that cannot be taken for granted. And for people who do not want to learn the hard way, the best thing is to perhaps think about getting the right amount of sleep above anything else which will eventually lead to one’s improved productivity.
We all work 5 days a week. 6 if you are in the service sector. But overall, the issue on whether a holiday break or weekend would help us regulate sleep or at least be able to get back to our regular sleeping patterns is something that many would want to know. For sure, breaks are much needed for people who have to work a lot during the week. But as far as sleep is concerned, it can regulate and nourish sleep once again but apparently not fully. Regeneration and rejuvenating our strength at these times is something welcome and perhaps refreshing. But as far as making it a habit, perhaps it would be best to consider that once Monday is here, you may be back to following the same old chaotic sleep deprivation mess. Mondays welcome well-rested employees for sure. But while that may mean production on a new energy, there are people who may not necessarily welcome Mondays with open arms. Some people may find the weekend all too enjoying that they want more of it. If there is something about vacations and weekends, it is the matter of not getting too much of it. Sleep is essential … Continue reading →
a

Sleep is essential and perhaps it is safe to say now, the proper amount of sleep and when not to get too much of it is an issue. Sleep has affected us both mentally and as a whole. Perhaps a disciplined mindset as well as regular health check-ups can ensure that we get the proper sleeping hours due for a normal human being.

For most babies today, it is important to make sure that they have a sleeping environment fit for them to easily get comfortable and the right ambiance for sleep. Babies may not be able to depict on how to get the proper amount of sleep but it remains that they do have some requirements that we are sure not to immediately understand. Many may overlook it, while great parents can easily identify what a child needs. Look at your child, observe and see on what they are trying to tell you. Some people would choose to go through a day without sleep while some would look at alternatives to remedy their sleep problem. Personally, you cannot go on without sleeping. It works like this: you break up the 24 hours of the day into 4 hour chunks. At some point in each 4 hour set, you take a twenty minute nap; the total amount of sleep adds up to about two hours. The schedule meant she’d have to sleep some during the workday, which her bosses approved, as long as she documented her progress on the how-to site. Her boyfriend was even up for trying to match their schedules.

McConnell began her sleep regimen, and at first things went well.

“I was able to get more done. I was up at three in the morning thinking, ‘Ok, what can I do now?’” she said. “I was able to make significant headway on my enormous to-do lists. I would go out on bicycle rides in the middle of the night.”

But by day five, her experience was already starting to deteriorate, even as she held out hope that her body would acclimate to the new sleep schedule.
