Less Stress with More Sleep with Dr. Zimmer
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung October 13th, 2008 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Issues.Stress is something common these days and if people had their way, they would want the best remedy to fight it off. Specialists would advise time out from work or any commitment while others may go as far as telling you to find some sort of recreation for it. But if you look at it all, nothing beats fighting stress other than sleep which can regenerate your adrenalin and make you focus better after.
Sleep is hard to do however. The sleep deprived can attest to that. But Dr. Britta Zimmer has some ideas which you can consider which you can check out here.
“Sleep and stress reduction are intermingled, critical components for achieving and maintaining overall health and well being, and is why GoodElements.com introduced ‘Chill’ and ‘Dream Supply’ - all natural, non-addictive nutritional supplement formulations that reduce stress and anxiety and promote quality sleep.

Eyes Show Your Lack of Sleep
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung July 3rd, 2008 in How to sleep better, SLEEP News, Sleep Disorders, Sleep Issues.
At times, it is easy to spot the people who lack sleep. Other than looking haggard overall, you can simply see it in their eyes. Eye bags are bulging and they have some red eyes at times as well. As far as eyes turning red, it should not be surprising.
Normally, when a person would see you with red eyes, they would say you took a quickie nap. So if that is the case, why? Well for sure, you are trying to make up for lost sleep perhaps on the night before.
The next time you see red or feel that your eyes are so strained, don’t be surprised. You need to make up for sleep and your eyes are obviously telling you why.
“When you don’t get enough sleep, your eyes haven’t had enough time to refresh themselves. As a result, the blood vessels near the surface of the eye become enlarged and dilated, causing the bloodshot look,” says Dr. Press. “The best remedy is, of course, to get more sleep, but there are different things you can do to get rid of your red, dry eyes.”

Save Water and Sleep Better
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung July 12th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Video, Sleep Humor, Snoring. When a person wants to finally sleep after a hard day, peace and quiet will always be at the foremost of his mind. Unlikely sounds such as dripping faucets can be irritating and may be a cause for losing sleep or not sleeping at all.
All it takes is a little effort. People may be too lazy to get up or find alternative ways to get their mind of sleeping. But technically, just check out what the noise is, remedy it and go to sleep.
Just look at how Bert and Ernie handle such problems in this classic from Sesame Street.

Snoring Kids May Produce Problems
2 Comments Published by Brian Yalung June 29th, 2007 in Health Issues, How to sleep better, SLEEP Video, Sleep Apnea, Sleep Disorders, Snoring. There are kids in the world that suffer obstructive sleep disorders or sleep apnea. While these are sometimes overlooked, they may eventually affect their overall personality or performance when they wake up.
It is evident that lack of sleep for kids who have to go to school or run some errands may be prone to personality changes. But the thing is, addressing the problem first hand and listening to what these kids actually experience can help solve and remedy the situation before it gets out of hand.
