Unlikely sounds such as dripping faucets can be irritating and may be a cause for losing sleep or not sleeping at all.
All it takes is a little effort. People may be too lazy to get up or find alternative ways to get their mind of sleeping. But technically, just check out what the noise is, remedy it and go to sleep.
