Marmot Offers Recycled Sleeping Bag
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung February 12th, 2008 in SLEEP Fun, SLEEP News, Sleep Business.
When you go outdoors such as camping trips, chances are you will need to bring along a good sleeping bag to serve as your mate when it is time to get some sleep. Apparently, most of the people are looking at the high-end and expensive ones but thanks to Marmot, a recycled sleeping bag is being offered for people who no longer have to worry about comfort and the green compliance standards put into the production of one.
The Marmot Eco Pro 15 is a good sleeping bag to count on which is made from recycled plastic bottles. This time around, no longer will you have to worry about sleeping comfortably outdoors and add to this the fact that you are doing your contributions in promoting green and eco-friendly products as well.
The new Marmot EcoPro 15 will be in the shops from later this month and uses high tech UpCycle materials. It’s a three-season synthetic bag which uses 100 per-cent recycled fabrics for the shell and lining and 80 per-cent recycled insulation.
A wave design combines shingle and blanket construction to save weight and maximise efficiency and the synthetic UpCycle insulation and DWR treated fabric should make for reasonable performance in damp conditions.

Does Santa Claus Really Come While You are Sleeping?
1 Comment Published by Brian Yalung December 2nd, 2007 in SLEEP Fun, Sleep Myths.
Call it a myth, but this is what most grown-ups instill in the minds of children, something to evidently control their enthusiasm once December 25 nears each year. Yes on the eve of his supposed trip, children are expecting presents from the man in the red coat. But of course we all know that at some point, you have to reveal that parents or guardians are usually the ones who give these gifts while they are sleeping.
The thing with kids today is that they are afraid to take risks and this should be the case. Imagine a Christmas without Santa Claus? Now that would be something to which the yuletide season will not really be complete. Besides, it has been said, he knows who is naughty and who is nice so better sleep before the clock strikes 12 because if you do wake up on Christmas day, chances are you may not find any gifts under the Christmas tree right?
And don’t forget the milk and cookies since hiding and waiting for the kids to sleep may altogether make Santa wannabes hungry and sleepy as well.

The Best Gift This Christmas is Sleep
0 Comments Published by Brian Yalung November 28th, 2007 in How to sleep better, SLEEP Fun, SLEEP News, Sleep Therapy, Sleeping Pills.
Outside the usual shopping and gift giving that is expected to ensue this holiday season, why not allow workaholics and people on the go a simple yet memorable gift by allowing them to sleep and recharge their lost sleep from the past year. There is not much to spend nor problem to give. They just need to be told to take it easy and rest a bit. Anyway, it is the end of the year and they do deserve a break.
What better ways to give than to have them sleep it off in their homes or wherever they are? That is perhaps the best thing that they can get this Christmas rather than giving them sleeping pills which may only affect other health aspects of their lives.

Sleeping with the Enemy
2 Comments Published by Brian Yalung November 2nd, 2007 in SLEEP Fun, SLEEP News, Sleep Issues.
At times when we want a refreshing sleeping practice, it is only normal for us to want to be alone in bed or at least share a bed with nothing else to think about. Quarrels and disagreements are usually a base for some people when it comes to sleeping comfortably. This includes that of siblings, partners and friends. Normally, when we have something against them, we would prefer to sleep alone or separate ourselves from them.
It may be petty at times but it is a reality. Most of the time, if problems can be resolved, people would do so. In cases when they are close to impossible to settle, chances are we would prefer to sleep elsewhere and apart from the people who become our temporary enemies.
